    Mr Karson 於 8 歲開始習琴，曾受著名音樂家 黃加恩老師 和 國際知名鋼琴家 洪昶老師啟蒙，於各大型鋼琴比賽中屢獲殊榮，具有豐富的舞台演出經驗。此外，他亦積極參與音樂創作，是樂隊「X-Ace」之創辦人，於樂隊中擔當鼓手及創作人，是古典及流行音樂界中的活躍分子。再者，於2015-2017年度中，連續兩個學年獲香港浸會大學頒獲獎學金，以表揚其才藝方面的卓越成就。

    Karson Ying was graduated at Hong Kong Baptist University, majoring in piano. He is now studying piano with Mr. Hung Chong and he was previously a student of Mr. Wong Ka Yan. Also, he was a choir member of Hong Kong Baptist University which conducted by Dr. John Winzenburg.

    Karson started learning piano at the age of seven and has obtained ATCL Piano Diploma of Trinity College. Not only worked on the certificate, he was also being active in the music field by taking different competitions such as The 19th Hong Kong Asia Piano Competition, The 1st Hong Kong International Music Competition For Young Pianists and 2015 International Art & Culture Festival. He has gotten a First honorable price, distinction and Second price respectively.

    Apart from that, Karson has also obtained Grade 8 level of RockSchool for drum. As a drummer and coordinator of a band, Wain, he always acted as a helper and arranger for music theory and pieces. Wain also held an annual outdoor performance in Tsim Sha Tsui every year until 2012.
